Integrity is at the core of our business. We are guided by our Code of Conduct (the “Code”), which is our roadmap for doing business in the right way.
ICL’s Code expresses the core values of the company and defines ICL’s ethical guidelines and culture of ethical excellence. The Code serves as a framework and foundation for additional supporting policies including Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Fraud Prevention, Securities, Global Trade, Anti-Money Laundering, Competition Law, Safety and Environmental Protection, Data Privacy, Anti-Harassment, and others. The Code is available in 12 languages and all (100%) company employees must sign and agree to follow the Code. The Code constitutes an integral part of ICL agreements with suppliers and contractors. Periodic online-based and instructor-led training sessions regarding the Code are conducted.
Across the organization, various committees facilitate discussions that identify and address issues to uphold our value of integrity. These include our Audit Committee of the Board of Directors, our Global Executive Committee, our Global Ethics Committee, our Gatekeepers Forum, and additional committees at global, regional, or country levels.
Our Global Ethics Committee, established in 2019, is responsible to promote and adopt best practices for business ethics and integrity in ICL. The Committee includes 15-18 ICL employees and executives from around the world. The Ethics Committee members discuss fundamental issues in ethics and compliance, influence and take an active role in outlining activities to implement the Code and to build plans to improve corporate governance and ethics involving all stakeholders of the company. ICL openly communicates the issues raised in the committee meetings, and the consequent decisions and guidance steps to all its employees.
