ICL’s products are intertwined with our everyday life. From the food we eat to the houses we live in as well as the appliances that have become part of everyday modern life. ICL developed and applied a product stewardship policy for use of our products by customers. Providing customers with relevant guidelines and training, encouraging safe, efficient and sustainable use of our products. Regarding the end of life of our products, we are exploring an initiative that employ circular economy strategies, for flame retardants and for products used in the construction industry. \

As a major producer of fertilizers and specialty fertilizers intended for greater precision, ICL’s products enhance yields and improve crop quality while also reducing water consumption and loss of fertilizers through leaching and volatilization.

Products are developed in line with a “Sustainability Index” developed by the Company. In addition, existing products meet regulatory standards. ICL also prioritizes product management approaches that reduce environmental emissions during use of its industrial products. The Company suggests best practices for using many of its products, as part of the service it provides clients. For example, SAFR, a methodology developed by ICL, informs clients on best choices for flame retardants, based on the desired use.
